6 Weeks of Making - October 11 to November 15, 2023
Whether you've dabbled with art materials or are looking for a new expression, these classes are for you! Through fun, interactive activities making collage papers in the first 4 weeks, we'll explore various mark making mediums, then experiment with additives and different combinations. The final two weeks will be dedicated to making one or two personalized compositions on cradled art board. Come out to play, explore with other creatives & blow off the dust of the day with Valerie May Art. $225 for 6 weeks.

Our classes are designed to help you find, and develop your capacity for a deep inner peace with meditation. Our meditation classes are open to everyone – beginners to advanced, regardless of background or previous experience. Join us weekly for our Thursday meditation class and experience a deeper inner peace. Everyone welcome!
Our series of classes this fall are based on understanding how the world around us is a reflection of our mind, and gaining a deeper understanding of the mind itself. We will focus on those positive minds that we all have within us – minds that are causes of happiness. By increasing these positive minds, we will gain more merit and power in the mind. In this way we will open our mind to a joyful, creative and game changing approach to experiencing our lives and our relationships.
$12 drop-in | $40 for any 4 classes. No need to pre-register. Just come along.

The Halton Hills Concert Band (HHCB) is excited to present our annual With Glowing Hearts Musical Tribute to the Armed Forces on Saturday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Christ The King Secondary School Theatre in Georgetown. This year's Master of Ceremonies, Rev. Paul Ivany, will welcome several guest performers, the North Halton Community Singers, with artistic director Eleanor Wallace and accompanist Haydn Evans, Piper Jane Cartwright and CK Jazz Combo Skinny Twink. Enjoy a variety of music, including popular movie music, marches, pop music hit songs and classic swing tunes performed against the backdrop of powerful visuals designed to remember and celebrate the Armed Forces. Come out and enjoy the original show that brings the pomp of the military tattoo to a concert setting.
