Head for the Hills is a day of craft beverage sampling, gourmet food, and live music in the beautiful countryside. Voted the #1 Beverage Festival in Ontario, Head for the Hills is a guaranteed good time rain or shine (…seriously, we can prove that). This year we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary!
Tickets are available at: www.headforthehills.ca
Four local service clubs of Georgetown (Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis & Kinsmen) united to launch Georgetown’s first ever Craft Beverage Festival in 2015. Since then, the Optimist Club of Halton Hills joined our ranks. Head for the Hills is entirely volunteer-run and benefits local charities.
Beverage + charity = win. Now a well-established event in our community, Head for the Hills is a late-Summer staple not to be missed. And 100% of proceeds go to local charities supported by the four service clubs. Our feature charities are Food4KidsNorth Halton, a group that provides nutritious food for schoolchildren across Halton to take home over the weekend, and Cancer Assistance Halton Hills, a group that provides support and services for cancer patients and their families. We also support the Townsend Smith Foundation and Community Alliance Reaching Everyone (C.A.R.E.).
Admission includes a customized Head for the Hills beverage stein and two tokens for samples of some of the best beer, wine, cider, seltzer and mixed liquor Ontario has to offer!
