Acton’s meeting with the big man in red and his band of merry parade floats is set for Nov. 16, starting at 1 p.m. at the corner of Queen Street and Acton Boulevard. This year’s theme is 'a Gingerbread Christmas.' The event is organized by volunteers of the Acton Firefighters Association, who will be accepting letters to Santa from local youngsters during the parade. The Roxy Centre in downtown Acton will be offering free photos with Santa before the parade from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
